So He Went- Answering the Call of God with Bold Obedience

What does it look like to finally say yes to something God has been calling us toward for years, maybe even decades? In Genesis 12, we find Abraham at 75 years old taking his first real step of obedience, leaving behind everything familiar to follow a voice and a promise into the unknown. The central lesson here is both humbling and freeing: God does not give up on us even when we have shelved what He has asked of us. He keeps calling. And when we finally respond, He meets us every step of the way. Abraham's journey shows us that saying yes to God means going to the place He is preparing, bringing along everyone who is willing to come, and calling on His name rather than reaching for the comforts and distractions that so easily become our default sources of direction and relief.
